The best young adult and middle grade fantasy books for readers of all ages
Sez who? Sez me!
Since I'm a fantasy author and they're adding a fantasy section on their new book discovery website, I was asked by the folks at Shepherd.com to come up with a "top five style" list of some of my favorite YA/MG fantasy reads.
What's cool is they're also featuring me and Dragonfriend on my list's page.
My "all ages" premise is that you don't need to be a "young adult" or a "middle grade student" to enjoy quality reads aimed at these age groups. The whole thing was a bit of a challenge as I read A LOT of YA/MG sf/f, and I have A LOT of favorites--but I persevered and was able to narrow it down to five titles. You're welcome. 😉
My list of favorites includes some classics of the fantasy genre along with a couple of excellent titles you may not have heard about. If you click on the link below, you'll be taken to my list's page on the Shepherd site. Once there you'll see the books I chose (Spoiler Alert: they're the same books shown in the image at the top of this post) and learn what I liked about them.
Check out MY YA/MG LIST, then stick around to find additional fun offerings like this list of books that contain supernatural MAGIC.
The links on the Shepherd site are Amazon affiliate links (as are most of the links on my website), but that never costs you, the reader, anything.
I'm liking what I'm seeing at Shepherd. In my opinion, it's a fun, free way for authors to get their books in front of more readers. Check them out!
